This spot is a small sidewalk resto that serves up some great local food. The lasagna? Layers of tender pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy mozzarella... it's a taste sensation. Adorable family run eatery established in 1989 with unbeatable prices and the friendliest couple running it. The lasagna was a perfect little quick lunch:)

I was there yesterday with children, we took calzone and mini-pizza fungi. Everything was delicious! It is not an "elegant" place, it's very tiny and looks like a family business of an older couple. They vere so kind and friendly, and we loved the atmosphere! Plus, the food was freshly prepared, very tasty and also cheap. The only problem was they don't accept payments by card, but there is an ATM nearby.

Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con una signora dolcissima e sempre sorridente che ci ha coccolati con i suoi fritti tipici salentini appena preparati — uno più buono dell’altro!
La parmigiana di melanzane? Una vera goduria, saporita e fatta come si deve. E anche le pizze ci hanno sorpreso, ben cotte, ingredienti freschi, sapore autentico.

A delicious pizzeria right next to the Basilica of Gallipoli, in a charming location! We dined at the outdoor tables, enjoying the atmosphere of the historic center. The service was impeccable, with a very sweet and always smiling lady who pampered us with her freshly prepared typical Salento fried foods—each one better than the last! The eggplant parmigiana? A true delight, flavorful and made just right. And the pizzas also surprised us: well-cooked, fresh ingredients, authentic flavor. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews... they're just jealous! We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. If you're in the area, stop by without a second thought.

I ordered a 4-cheese pizza and a baked ham and mushroom pizza for takeout. They tasted really good and were very good for the price. However, they wouldn't let me sit down when I got them, so I had to stand across the restaurant and wait for them to be made. I even took a photo of myself while waiting. The young woman who was working didn't speak English, and when I asked for confirmation a second time, she snapped at me. Well done to the person who made them. The taste is amazing, but such a rude welcome is unacceptable.
